Warranty Coverage

The Solar Panel comes with 20 years, Batteries Lithium for 5 years, Tubular for 18 months, and Inverters for 12 years. There is a limited warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance.

Components Covered

Solar Panels: Covered for 20 years against material and performance defects. Performance degradation. This warranty does not cover physical damage

Streetlight: Covered for 24 months. This warranty does not cover physical damage.

Solar borehole: Covered for 12 months

Inverters: Covered for 12 years for material defects and malfunctions.

Batteries: Covered for Lithium for 5 years or Tubular for 18 months for charge cycles, whichever comes first.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Damage caused by improper installation, maintenance, or operation that is not in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Damage due to weather conditions (hail, lightning, floods, etc.) or natural disasters.

Normal wear and tear, including degradation of energy output over time (unless above-specified thresholds are exceeded).

Unauthorized modifications or repairs to the system.

Damage caused by electrical surges or improper electrical connections.

Claims Process

To file a warranty claim, contact our customer service team

Please provide proof of purchase, product serial numbers, and a detailed description of the defect or issue.

Remedies

If a covered defect is found, we will, at our discretion:

Repair the product or replace defective components.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages (e.g., loss of energy production or revenue).

Transferability

This warranty is not transferable to new owners.

Diesel Generator

The warranty coverage for a diesel generator typically includes protection against defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period. Here are some common elements found in diesel generator warranties:

  • Coverage Period: Warranties often cover between 2 years. It might also be based on operational hours, 2,000 hours, whichever comes first.
  • Parts and Labor: Most warranties cover the replacement of defective parts only. This does not cover labour costs for repairs.
  • Major Components: Key parts like the engine, alternator, and control systems are usually covered.
  • Exclusions: Wear and tear items (e.g., filters, belts, or batteries) may not be included. Damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, or environmental factors may also be excluded.
  • Maintenance Requirements: To keep the warranty valid, regular maintenance (as per the manufacturer’s recommendations) is often required.

Solar CCTV warranty policy:

Maintenance and Installation: The warranty is voided if the system is not installed or maintained by a certified technician, or if unauthorized repairs or modifications are made.

Warranty Period: Most CCTV systems come with a warranty of 12 months.

Parts and Labor: The warranty covers the replacement or repair of defective components and does not cover labour costs for the repair or installation.

Covered Components: This typically includes cameras and DVR/NVR units.

Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, environmental factors (e.g., extreme weather), or natural disasters. Consumable items such as hard drives are excluded.
